Being overweight is not a fun topic, especially for someone who struggles with weight issues. Of course not all fad diets do anything and weight loss diets are no more or less than scams. I mean, I understand that many people have a serious weight problem and find it nearly impossible to shed those unwanted pounds.

However, most of us who find ourselves overweight are products of our own gluttony. I’m the first one to raise my hand. In fact I will take care of both of them. Oh wait, my shirt slipped up on my stomach, let me just raise one hand.

Seriously, though, it took work to achieve. What makes you think it won’t take a bit of work to take it off? Now when I say work out, I’m not talking about breaking out Thai master or ole ski kebabs or even eliminating weights, although the latter you might want to.

We don’t want weight loss to be a dream world, we want it to become a reality. 1. Believe you can. I know it sounds simple but really if you don’t believe you can you won’t. On the other hand, if you think that you can, then if you stick to only 5 easy steps, then your weight will decrease and decrease rapidly.

2. Stop drinking all that garbage you usually stuff your face with. You know the things that are not good for you. Don’t try and fool me because it’s not me who needs to lose weight. You have to be honest with yourself and just put your foot down and just do it.

3. Start eating 6 small meals a day. One of our biggest problems is, yes eating the wrong food, but the other problem is that when we sit down to eat, we eat too much. In other words, eat smaller portions throughout the day and our body will burn all the fat so nothing ends up piling up in our barns.

4. Eat almonds and other unsalted nuts in small portions. Beans and legumes, spinach and other green vegetables. Fat-free or low-fat milk, yogurt, cottage cheese. Eat instant oatmeal (the kind that doesn’t have all the sugar added). Eat eggs and lean meats like turkey, Canadian bacon. Eat peanut butter, olive oil, and whole grain breads and cereals. Raspberries and other berries.

5. Drink low fat 2% milk and water. If you must have soda, drink a diet drink.
