belly burner review

As far as as seen on TV products go, Belly Burner has to be the perfect product. It identifies one of the most vexing problems people face and offers a simple solution. If it works, millions of units will be sold and America will be fit like a fiddle. What could be more perfect?

First let me say that I was very skeptical when I saw the Belly Burner commercial but the manufacturer was careful not to make too many outrageous claims. The premise makes sense if you listen carefully and avoid the iconic fitness models from advertising. The idea is that heating the body’s core temperature will speed up metabolism and burn more calories during a workout.

The above statement is very important. Contrary to my early hopes and dreams, Belly Burner does not claim to work for you. You can’t just wear it and watch the pounds melt away. So this product as seen on TV isn’t a miracle, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work. The Belly Burner commercial clearly states that this workout belt is meant to be worn during exercise and will increase your results.

Having said that, I think a belly burner, again if it works, is a good thing. If I can turn it on and go for a walk, jog or run and burn more calories doing so, then it’s worth the money. I looked for it but couldn’t find Belly Burner in stores, so I ordered online and availed the 30 day trial offer. The offer states that you get the ab belt for 30 days for only $7.95 shipping and handling costs and if you are not completely satisfied, you can return it but $7.95 will be incurred. Now, I know what you’re saying. “Has anyone ever been completely satisfied with the exercise equipment they saw on TV?” Well, the answer is yes. If you have high hopes but reasonable expectations, you can find products that will work for you. I am living proof.

Heartburn is troubled by these home remedies

So keep that in mind when I do product reviews because unlike wild late-night commercials, I look for products that help me get in better shape than I would have if I didn’t use them. I had high hopes for Belly Burner and can say this after using it for a few weeks. I definitely felt some heat in the area below my belt.

I haven’t been able to prove if my metabolism increased because I wore it but I suspect I was actually more diligent in my workouts because of its presence. I will say that wearing it while exercising that required a lot of bending and lifting was a bit uncomfortable so I would recommend wearing during mostly aerobic activity.

I decided to keep it around because it was not an expensive item and my body reacted the way the commercial said. I have to report that I’m not overweight and only “pinched” 1.5 inches at my waist, so I didn’t have a bunch of weight to lose. So for that reason I am not here to say that Belly Burner was a miracle for me but it very well could have helped me.

My recommendation is that if wearing this ab belt encourages you to work harder and longer then it will benefit you. If you expect to use and wear it as back support and hope it will burn calories sitting in front of a computer then this is not for you.

Like most TV products, the Belly Burner comes as part of a program to maximize the benefits of buying it. In this case, celebrity trainer Bobby Waldron gets you pumped to the belt by giving you a calorie counter and a special workout DVD to help you maximize your gains. The program is called Blazing Abs DVD and it is quite challenging. The food journal is something I could do without but the whole package tells me that if you eat right and exercise you will get results from Belly Burner. If applying a belt helps you do this, then by all means consider purchasing the product.
