Alkaline Diet Recipes – Alkalize your body with juices, soups, breakfasts and dinners

One thing we must accept is that most of the people like to eat food items which are rich in seasonings. And sometimes these nutrients can be obtained from foods that are mostly acidic. Well, alkaline diet recipes would be the solution to curb acidic foods.

There can be many ways of preparing the dishes which suit our taste. This can also be done with fruits and vegetables that are alkaline foods.

You can easily prepare alkaline foods anytime. And here are suggestions for alkaline juices, soups, breakfasts and dinners.

o alkaline juice

This recipe is great for breakfast as it will boost your energy level. It wakes up your digestive system while nourishing your body.

You can add cucumber, celery, spinach, lettuce and any other green leafy vegetables. You can also use parsley and fresh alfalfa as optional boosters. Juice them together and mix 50/50 with distilled water. You can add optional lemon juice. You can also add prime pH to increase the alkalinity of the juice even more.

o Alkaline Soup

This soup is highly recommended when you are on detox. This recipe includes avocado which is high in EFAs. It also contains cucumber which is known for its cleansing properties. You can use herbs and spices, lemon and lime.

You’ll blend the avocado and stock to make a smooth paste. After that you will add spring onions, green or red chilies, cucumber, spinach and garlic. Combine Bragg Liquid Aminos, Light Vegetable Bullion (yeast-free) and lemon or lime juice.

For dinner, the Detox Lime-Chile Stir ‘fry is one of my favorite alkaline diet recipes. The ingredients are pak-choi, carrots, mange-tout/sugar snap peas, beansprouts, broccoli, cabbage (red or green), fresh lime juice, chili, coriander and vegetable bullion and brown basmati rice/wild rice.

First of all, you have to make a pulp of coriander with mortar and pestle. And then make chutney by adding chili and lemon juice. Keep it aside. And then you will finely chop all the vegetables. After this you will cook them in steam but do not cook completely so that its nutrients are not destroyed.

Now you will cover the cooked stuff over the rice and then add the sauce.

It is so simple yet delicious. If you do not have a steamer, you can also steam fry the vegetables in vegetable bullion stock. If you are into seafood, you can also add prawns.

The quantity of each ingredient depends on your preference.

o alkaline breakfast

An alkaline recipe that will surely appeal to your tastebuds is an asparagus prepared with lemon juice.

Ingredients are asparagus stems (bend over end and let them snap naturally), green onions, melted (avocado) butter, grated lemon rind of half a lemon, fresh lime juice from a whole lemon, and fresh thyme .

Steam the spring onions and asparagus but avoid overcooking them. Then make a dressing by mixing avocado butter, lime juice, thyme, and lime rind. Add a little cold pressed extra virgin olive oil to neutralize the lemon juice. Now pile the green onions and asparagus and then dress.
