You can eat a lot of different foods on the 80/10/10 Low Fat Raw Vegan Diet that you may not have considered before. Obviously, most of what you’ll eat on this diet will be fruit which moderates your fat and protein intake. This is the way it is intended and there is no way to get around it; And after a while of eating on the 80/10/10 Low Fat Raw Vegan Diet, you really won’t want to. You will enjoy eating the fruit so much, and you will feel so good after eating it, that you will not need anything else.
However, you can also eat some other things which will give you satiety. Sweet corn is one of these things.
It is recommended to consume sweetcorn only fresh as the sugar turns into starch within 24 hours after the corn is picked. However, if you’re just starting the diet and need that extra boost to help you stay 80/10/10 Low Fat Raw Vegan, then just go for it. Sweetcorn, even with the starch, is a high-quality, low-fat raw food. Both fat and protein levels account for about 10% of its calories.
Fresh raw peas are great too. You can eat them whenever you like after picking them – even frozen if you really want to, although they’ll essentially be just as good fresh and unfrozen. Eating them out of the pod may be counter-therapeutic, rather than eating sunflower seeds (see below). They have about 20% of their calories from protein, which makes them a sub-optimal food for the 80/10/10 Low Fat Raw Vegan Diet, but if you make them one meal a day you can get 10% more. Will not take more protein than any way for the day. They are a great food.
Carrot juice is a great way to get a few extra calories that feel more grounding than fruit. Douglas Graham doesn’t recommend this food in his book “The 80/10/10 Diet” as he recommends against juicing, but juicing can be a helpful way to get more calories in for beginning the diet. So if you want to have some carrot juice, don’t worry about it, just try it. They have about 200 calories a cup. (Carrots are good to eat as is, but not a fast alternative to stuffing yourself with calories).
Sunflower seeds are excellent raw foods. Crack them open and eat them to make an enjoyable ritual. They’re high in fat, but because it takes so long to eat them, you’ll feel like you’ve eaten too much; For that reason an excellent food for the 80/10/10 Low Fat Raw Vegan Diet.
conclusion
80/10/10 You can eat more foods than you think on a low fat raw vegan diet. Explore, and remember, you’re not “banning” foods, you’re just obsessing over others to the point of exclusion. 😉 80/10/10 The Low Fat Raw Vegan Diet Is Worth It.
