healthy diet plan for healthy life

A healthy diet plan means a well balanced diet plan. A well balanced diet plan is the key to a healthy diet. Staying healthy is the best thing you can do for yourself. Eating what you need and not eating anything extra will not only give your body the nutrition it needs but will also save your body the hassle of digesting unwanted food.

A healthy diet plan will require you to eat green vegetables, fruits and other foods. You must remember that if you want to follow a healthy diet plan then you have to do without junk food.

good diet plan

A healthy diet plan does not mean eating x,y,z and only x,y,z. This means eating what works for you.

  • Eat green vegetables: Eating green vegetables is important for obtaining important minerals, vitamins and enzymes to help your body function optimally. Vegetables are also low in calories.
  • Fruits: Eating fruits can help take care of your sugar cravings for the day and give you important vitamins and minerals.
  • Nuts: The oil obtained from the seeds of almonds is very important for the functioning of your body.
  • Fish: Fish fatty oil like omega-3 is very important for your body.
  • Breakfast: A healthy breakfast that includes two eggs is important as the first meal of the day will give you the fuel you need to start your day.
  • Eat small amounts of food: Eating small amounts of food that will keep you active for three hours is important because by doing so you can avoid gaining extra weight.

By including this in your diet plan or replacing your current diet with the above mentioned foods, you will be able to have a healthy diet plan. Remember what you eat and when you eat and how much you eat is what will give you a healthy body. It is not easy to say eat 200 grams of meat a day or drink 2 glasses of milk because what works on you may not work on someone else.

balancing act

It is important to balance your daily intake of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and calories as too much of everything is not good.

  • Consuming too much protein in a day can have bad effects on your liver, so limit how much you should eat, which is about 1 gram per body weight per day for health and more will damage your liver. Remember to drink plenty of water too.
  • Fat burns fat. Yes it is true and did you know that your body requires a certain percentage of fat for its optimum functioning. Eating fat doesn’t make you fat. So include some fat in your diet, let’s say around 15% of your daily food should be fat.
  • Carbohydrate early in the day is good and eating late in the day is bad because if you take it later in the day you can increase fat and it is good earlier in the day.
  • Calorie intake should be limited as too much will make you fat.

So these were the tips of healthy diet plan.
