Every day we are told that “if you want to lose weight, you have to go on a diet, exercise more, and so on.” The truth is, there is some truth in those old ways. However, they don’t get you very far. That’s because we’ve all taken half-truths to burn fat and lose weight.

Switching from a “Junk Food Diet” to a “Plant Based Salad Diet”

I have to say that this is all too common. If you want to lose weight, the first thing you think of is to start eating salads? Wrong.

When one suddenly switches to a salad diet, instead of losing weight, one tends to gain water weight. Because they do not have the proper enzymes to digest the soluble fiber in water-absorbing leafy vegetables.

It takes time for a person to develop the proper enzymes to digest lettuce. Instead of switching to a salad diet, try starting with fruit and vegetable smoothies with healthy fats from bananas, coconut, flaxseed and avocado, for example.

Healthy fats are there to prevent you from hunger and cravings.

If you’re trying to lose body fat and lose weight, then skipping breakfast probably isn’t the best idea. First of all big meals slow down your metabolism a bit. Keep doing it everyday and it becomes a habit. Try reducing the size of your breakfast meals instead, or start with a breakfast smoothie. Think light meals.

Another common mistake people make is to do too many workouts in one day at the gym. They think that if they work out for 3 hours in the gym one day and rest for the next two days, they will lose weight. It doesn’t matter how many hours you spend working out, but how many days you work out continuously.

Try working out continuously for one hour daily and see how it will give you results.

In other words high intensity interval training. This type of workout is usually done with an interval timer. Like working non-stop for the first minute and then rest for the next minute and rest after that etc.

This gives people a better chance to lose weight. Because interval workouts rev up the metabolism to burn more fat in resting mode. You can increase the intensity of an exercise by adding more repetitions to a set or by adding more sets to an interval timer.

Power lifting or weight training is a great way to increase fat burning in certain muscle areas. This is a proven way to burn body fat. I recommend it.

Being under high levels of stress can affect your ability to lose weight. Because often lack of sleep causes stress. There are two hormones in your body called leptin and ghrelin.

leptin Regulates appetite, metabolism, ability to burn fat.

When your body produces more ghrelin, you crave more and more food. When leptin is low due to lack of sleep, ghrelin is increased. You need to get more sleep to produce more leptin.

When someone eats too many healthy fats. Like avocados, bananas, nuts, olive oil, salmon, coconut, etc., it adds up to a ton of calories. It’s usually best to keep healthy fats to a minimum. Good enough to keep you full till your next meal.

There is a lot of different advice out there for burning fat. Like Intermittent Fasting, Detox Diet, Supplements, Pills, Garcinia Cambogia etc.

The reason these diets claim to work is one thing. Ability to keep you full until your next meal while you are able to exercise and burn body fat.

Now who doesn’t love a bowl of ice cream at night? I know I do…but eating our favorite comfort foods too often can affect our ability to lose weight, as the chemicals in our cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc. put toxins in our bodies and damage our livers. prevent the absorption of vitamins. and nutrients from vegetables and fruits when we eat healthy. With that being said, you need to get rid of these comfort foods in order to lose weight. That’s why I always recommend smoothie diet, as they are packed with vitamins, nutrients and natural sugars instead of artificial sugars.

alcohol, tobacco, drugs

If you have bad habits of taking alcohol, tobacco and drugs, then it makes you unable to lose weight at all. Because the toxins that are in the medicines. Consumption of alcohol also prevents you from losing weight.
