How To Lose Belly Fat For Women – Don’t Make These 3 Mistakes

The method of reducing belly fat for women is slightly different from reducing belly fat for boys. In this article, I will discuss 3 common mistakes that women make while trying to reduce belly fat. Eliminate those 3 mistakes, and women reveal how to lose belly fat.

So let’s know those 3 mistakes related to belly fat made by women…

Mistake #1: not eating often enough

When you don’t eat often enough, your body goes into starvation mode. What happens then is the body begins to retain excess body fat. The reason they do this is because body fat is a quick and easy source of energy during times of starvation. This worked great hundreds of years ago, not so well these days for those who really have no qualms about starving to death.

The best thing you can do is eat 4-5 small meals…or 3 small meals and 3 healthy snacks.

Mistake #2: focusing countless hours on cardio

Long, steady-state, low-intensity cardio isn’t good for weight loss or if you’re trying to lose belly fat. It’s very catabolic. This means that it eats up muscle tissue for fiber. Since each pound of muscle burns 30-50 more calories per day than one pound of fat, you’re unknowingly slowing your metabolism and burning fewer calories.

Instead, do short bursts of high-intensity interval training. To do this, just go “all out” with whatever cardio exercise you’ve been doing. Do this for about 10 seconds. After that, slow it down and do a low intensity on the machine for about 20 seconds. Then keep repeating that cycle for at least 5 minutes.

25 minutes of this will help give you the “afterburn”. What is that, is this… After you finish this routine you lose body fat for 18 or more hours. You don’t get that afterburn from slow, steady-state cardio like jogging for 20 minutes at the same pace on a treadmill.

Mistake #3: not getting enough fiber in your diet

The average woman should get at least 35 grams of fiber each day. The average American gets about 12 grams of fiber a day. It’s just not cutting it. Fiber cleanses your system and improves the efficiency of your digestive tract to eliminate waste sludge and toxins. This apparently speeds up your weight loss.

The simplest way to get the bulk of your 35 or more grams of fiber each day is to eat 1 can of black beans per day. Each 15-ounce can has about 25 grams of fiber. It only costs 48 cents at Wal-Mart.

So there you have it. Those are the 3 “how to lose belly fat for women” mistakes I see most often in my clients.
