First off, let me say that I love elliptical machines. I think they are better than a treadmill because they are much easier on the joints and ligaments. Using an elliptical machine allows you to get a low-impact workout.

Second, the Gazelle would make a perfect addition to anyone who works at home.

Now, the problem with most cardio machines like this is how they are used, not the machines themselves. About 98% of people make this mistake too.

Simply put, most people do “steady state” cardio. This means that they do long, slow to moderate-paced sessions of more than 30 minutes in a row.

This is at a higher level of fat burning. But the best part is that it stays in this enhanced fat burning mode for about 18 hours after a HIIT session. This equates to a massive amount of fat loss compared to jogging or walking… because once you’re jogging, you burn fat. No afterburn.
