1. If you use olive oil in cooking and want to check it for adulteration, pour the oil into a glass, cover it with your hand and rub the glass from the outside with the other hand . When it becomes slightly warm, remove your hand from the top of the glass and smell it, if there is a smell coming from it then it means it is fake olive oil.
– If you are using mustard oil in cooking, then to check its purity, pour mustard oil into a pan and heat it until strong smoke comes out. If even after the smoke comes out it smells and it turns black, it means it is fake mustard oil.
You can also identify real and fake oil by looking at its color. Peanut oil is slightly thick and dark brown in color. At the same time, sunflower oil is light and has a light color, so always buy the oil after looking at the color.
– To check the purity of the oil, take a small amount of oil in a clean container and freeze it in the freezer, if the oil is pure then it will freeze and if the oil is adulterated then it will float like a liquid .
– To check for adulterated oil, take some oil on your finger and rub it. If grease leaks out and it starts to feel rough, then know that the oil is bad.
