Karishma Shah said that by exercising daily, blood pressure can be reduced by about 5 to 8 mm hg. If you want your blood pressure to be controlled then do exercise daily. Shah said that every person, especially those who are suffering from BP problem, should do 30 minutes of light physical activity every day.

Consuming whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy products can also reduce blood pressure up to 11 mm hg. A person suffering from blood pressure should take special care of his diet.

If you have a habit of smoking then quit it immediately. Smoking increases blood pressure which can increase the risk of heart diseases. Quitting smoking will not only lower your blood pressure but also help you live a healthier and longer life.
