Too Much Healthy Food Can Kill You

Water is essential for life and we should consume it to stay healthy but when taken too much it is known to be deadly. The dizziness and unwell feelings made me unconsciously take it easy when he went home. Sometimes my legs were too heavy and tired to walk while my arms felt like they were being pulled out of their pockets. My only relief is doing more in the garden with frequent breaks.

It’s natural to turn to wholesome leafy green vegetables and the oft-hyped superfoods during the cold winter months. It is a matter of great pride and pleasure that my patch sports them in abundance. Bok choy, which grows so fast that one can pluck leaves every day during flowering. Kale, which never seems to be a problem to grow, and spinach, which is my favorite.

From around the start of winter they became my staple every night. Knowing the benefits they offer along with the immense abundance of essential elements and vitamins, a small jolt of heat in the microwave made them ready to eat.

After dinner, pampering your tummy with yogurt and blueberries is a treat. Yummy and Swampy cats also turn up to lick the plate. Nutritionists recommend almonds for a healthy gut.

So with all this goodness my body is letting me down. Tired muscle aches, a feeling of nausea and then dizziness that often sent me squirming to the chair.

Doctors, naturopaths, PT instructors and others all suggested different reasons. Everything from stoned ears to a damaged shoulder was suggested but nothing seemed to fit.

As a spiritual person it is normal for me to consult spirit for answers and they came thick and fast. I love seeing Bok Choy flaunting its lovely leaves among other great foods. What is it in that vegetable that can make me sick?

It has become like a poison that clouds my mind and then my body starts to falter. The puzzle, taken to the Internet, was soon solved.

While bok choy, kale, spinach, etc. are super foods with components to prevent cancer growth and even prevent diabetes, they contain high amounts of potassium. The symptoms of excess of that element exactly match mine. Lethargy, nausea and dizziness are part of it. Almond milk and nuts are also rich in it, as well as other staples including milk and eggs.

The danger of an overdose of potassium is heart attack and other things. The lesson has been learned that too much of good healthy food can actually kill you. The Great Spirit has once again protected me, as do all spiritual people. One only needs to ask for answers as a friend and it rarely lets you down.
