Rob Nevin’s Skinny Switch Secret – Menu & Meal Plan

The Skinny Switch Secret Weight Loss Plan is marketed by Guthy-Ranker, one of America’s largest marketing companies. They show their informational ads all over the United States.

Rob Nivens, a self-proclaimed weight loss guru from Connecticut, originated the plan.

His plan uses a method of confusing one’s metabolic system by changing the type and amount of food consumed on a daily basis.

And every third to fifth day is called a load up day where anything can be eaten.

Reportedly, eating this way does not allow the body to become accustomed to daily calorie levels and food choices which triggers a higher metabolic rate and thus burns more calories than usual.

There is no science behind this plan, just speculation that because it makes sense, it should work. We believe that any positive results are due to a member eating fewer calories, resulting in weight loss.

Skinny Switch Secret members, after logging in, go to the meal planning section of their web site.

Questions related to food likes and dislikes are asked. When completed with the questionnaire, the weight loss program generates a 3 day meal plan and shopping list.

The food generated in the shopping list includes all the food items. At first thought, it seemed like a good idea until I read the list. For every minute ingredient, it’s listed on your shopping list, even if small amounts are used.

For example, if butter is used in a meal (how did butter get into the diet plan?), in the shopping list it will appear as a spoonful of butter.

It really clutters up the list and makes it practically useless.
