easy exercises you can do at home

Do you know that you need to walk at least 10,000 steps every day to keep your heart healthy and your weight under control? It may sound daunting but many activities that you are doing everyday such as running to work or doing household chores can add up to a few hundred or even a thousand steps for you.

To maintain your health and ensure that you complete 10,000 steps every day, here are some simple and easy exercises that you can do at home. These exercises will not only help you keep fit but will also tone your body as they work on certain specific muscle groups. They are much more effective than normal exercises such as running errands and doing household chores. Here are exercises you can easily do at home:

– stretching exercises. Stand with both your hands on a wall and step your left leg back so that your foot is flat against the floor. Wait for a few seconds; Then repeat this action with the right leg. Another great stretching exercise you can do is to lie on your back, using both hands, bring your right knee up to your chest and hold it for a few seconds. Repeat this routine with your left leg.

– Very easy to curl. Simply lie on your back with both hands behind your head and lift your upper body. Repeat this action 15-20 times.

Legs exercise can be done by lying on the side and lifting each leg 15-20 times repeatedly. You can also stand and hold onto the back of a chair and lift your legs backward repeatedly.

– Exercise of the arms. This is important for improving muscle tone. You can use an exercise band for arm exercises. Place both feet on one end of the band, hold the other end with each hand, and then repeatedly move the band up and down (in an up and down motion) for 10-15 minutes. If you have a pair of dumbbells, you can also use them to work your arms.

If you are working at home and are sitting in front of your computer most of the time, try tapping your toes in an up and down motion repeatedly. This activity will help keep the blood circulation flowing in your legs.
