Primitive tribes in all parts of the world believed in animal sacrifice. Natural calamities were blamed on an angry deity who had to be appeased, and the way to appease an angry deity was to offer a burning animal to that deity. The animal was usually a goat or a bull. The animal was then taken to a high place, where it was burnt alive. It was believed that the smoke emanating from the burning animal would go into the belly of the god. If the natural calamities continued, it was believed that their gods were still not satisfied. It was then the time of human sacrifice. This was considered the best way to please the Lord.
The ideal human offering for a hungry deity was a young fat woman, the heavier the woman, the better the offering. The only problem these primitive tribals had was that fat women were not available. There was no fat woman in an environment full of famine or drought. The only way to solve that problem was to raise them like you raise cattle. They did this by fattening the children up to adulthood. Fat women were treated like nobles and were taught that it was an honor to be sacrificed as food to the gods. The children of the tribe sought the chance to enter that elite class and were fattened up until they were fat. Some of the fat nobles reached a weight of 400 pounds before they were offered as smoke to their god.
In today’s world obese women are not considered elite, nor are they seen as food for some hungry god. No one tries to fatten children for the purpose of fattening them, and hunger gods are not believed to exist. Drought and famine are no longer blamed on a malevolent deity which makes them far from obtaining food.
It would be a better world if heavy women were treated as elite again. But it will not be for the purpose of feeding them to some hungry deity. A world full of fat women who were worshiped would be a blessing for those who hate being on a diet. They’ll be able to eat whatever food they want and still be attractive to a population that worships obesity. It would be easy to build this world of heavy women. Supermarket shelves are full of delicious foods, and women can be persuaded to eat as much as they want. They will get fat soon. The hard part would be to inspire men to worship and love those heavy women. This can be done with the power of advertising
