What you eat is as important as what you do.

2. Which brings us to the second top reason why exercise is important and that is weight management. Whether you are concerned about gaining or losing weight, exercise can do both, it can gain weight or reduce it. Managing your weight is very important not only for physical reasons but also for psychological reasons. A person who doesn’t feel good about their looks can get low self-esteem, stress, and emotional disorders like depression.

3. The third reason why exercise is important is that it keeps the muscles strong and flexible. It is normal for muscles to become weak as we age. However, when we exercise it slows down the aging process so that we can remain independent and mobile for longer. We want to stay healthy for as long as possible so that we can enjoy our lives and not have to depend on our families to take care of us.
