SureTouch improves early detection of breast cancer with new technology and innovation, namely the highly acclaimed SureTouch™ visual mapping system.
The introduction of SureTouch now offers women of all ages the option of regular, sensitive, accurate, pain-free and radiation-free computerized breast imaging with their own GP or primary health care professional. The procedure is non-invasive, requires no compression of the breast tissue and does not cause any harm to the patient as it does not use any radiation to generate the scan.
• Fact: Whether you are 18 or 80 years old, have dense breasts, have had a mastectomy or had augmentations (implants), a SureTouch computerized breast imaging is right for you.
• Fact: Breast cancer does not discriminate as it can occur at any age.

• Facts: SureTouch is TGA approved (Therapeutic Goods Administration) of Australia and by regulatory authorities in USA.
What is SureTouch?
The SureTouch Visual Mapping System is a unique digital sensing device that assists a physician or other trained healthcare professional in screening for breast cancer during scheduled exams, greatly increasing the chances of early diagnosis of breast cancer in women.
How does technology work?
The SureTouch hand-held sensor is composed of a high-resolution array of many tiny, proprietary, pressure-sensitive elements. These elements are integral to the technology that converts the measurement of tissue elasticity into an electronic signal, which is then digitized and computer analyzed.
Why Should Women Get Computerized Breast Imaging?
Currently, women usually rely on self-examination or similar hands-on examination by their primary care physician or gynecologist to identify breast lesions. Computerized breast imaging that is easy to obtain and performed accurately is beneficial for all women, but for women between the ages of 25-40, unless we detect a concern Till then there will be no possibility of mammogram. With breast cancer, early detection can mean the difference between life and death.
Is the SureTouch test accurate and reliable?
The two-year study of SureTouch, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and its surprising results for identifying and mapping breast lesions are documented in the American Journal of Surgical Procedures and by the researchers involved in the project. Eight clinical studies conducted in different countries show that SureTouch is more accurate than traditional breast exams. In countries such as India and China, SureTouch is used for breast screening in the general population. SureTouch can pick up breast lesions even after mastectomy, whereas mammograms cannot where there is no breast tissue.
Can SureTouch be used as a diagnostic device?
This is not a diagnostic device. Its purpose is to visualize the sense of touch and produce an objective, reliable and consistent printed report for patient information, a second formatted report for review by the attending physician, and a digital document file that can be added to the patient’s electronic Medical records viewable by mammographers and attending breast surgeons.
