You can eat when you are hungry and lose weight

Cultivated (by my very loving family) to use food as a comforter, when I had children of my own, I searched for ways to instill a healthy relationship with food in my own children. I’ve heard of an experiment where children were given unlimited access to a variety of foods, ranging from foods considered healthy to foods considered unhealthy, such as sweets and soda pop. It found that although the children could eat all the sweet and fatty things they wanted over the course of a month, their choices contributed to a healthy, balanced diet. They somehow knew exactly what to eat without being told. In other words, we are born with this instinct, and only when it is manipulated do we lose it. So I applied these principles to my kids as much as my budget would allow. The result is that both are naturally slim and never have to pay attention to their weight or struggle with food cravings.

Therefore, we are born with a tendency to listen to what our bodies are telling us. But as we grow up, through conditioning, no matter how well intentioned, we lose this tendency. But, we can learn it again. If you’re trying to lose weight, consider relearning this trend. You can re-learn to listen to your body’s inner wisdom by giving yourself permission to eat whatever you want, whenever you need to.

The reason most people panic after hearing this is that they want lots of sweets, cakes, soft drinks, alcohol, chips, etc. But they’ve never trusted their intuition before, so how can they know what it’s really going to be like? How do they know that they will not actually be choosing an overall healthy and balanced diet? Another reason for nervousness is the worry that if they eat when they are hungry, they will not be able to stop eating. But if you retrain your mind to listen to your body’s signals, you’ll soon learn how to recognize when you’ve had enough, and you’ll easily stop eating when that happens.

Health and fitness tips to lose weight

The biggest trick here is to get emotional conditioning out of the way. My favorite tool for doing this is EFT, which is an acronym for Emotional Freedom Techniques. If you’re not familiar with EFT, you can download a free guide to the method from several online resources, or you can have a few sessions with a practitioner. If you already know EFT, here are some tips you can tap into to overcome this emotional conditioning.

Although I was prescribed high-sugar energy drinks when I had a cold and still drink them, I love and accept myself very much.

Even though my parents told me that I cannot eat halwa until I finish my meal or finish my homework, which instilled in me the importance of halwa as a special dish, I love and accept myself very much.

I think you get the picture. Tap on whatever comes your way until you naturally get a handle on your food. And then just be an observer in this situation, observing your new food choices as slowly but surely, you lose weight. At times the weight may increase slightly before decreasing again. This is a natural phenomenon that happens even to naturally thin people. Don’t let this get in the way of your confidence in losing weight. You can see your weight generally going on a downward trend until it finally settles down to your slim and healthy you.
